My Background

When I was a child, I was always finding something to draw. Usually unicorns or horses, but this branched out to other wildlife as I got older. The joy of art and the drive to create it has never lessened, though sometimes it changes form. Now, as a mature artist, comfortable in my own skin, I have chosen to depict my subjects as quilled paper art.

My Medium

I use many different mediums, such as paper, charcoal, acrylics, watercolor, and pastels. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style. Though I always end up back at paper. Creating unique custom paper art is perhaps the culmination of all the mediums I've ever used.

My Inspiration

I enjoy nature and many of my pieces are directly influenced by the natural world around me. I love recreating plants and wildlife in my work. One of the most revisited subjects of mine are birds. I'm also a science buff and this comes through in my anatomical pieces which many consider some of my most unique custom paper art.
